Leaf Miner

Description:
A leaf miner is a generic term for any bug that's larvae live inside the leaf and tunnel their way through until they mature. Typically are moths, flies, or beetles. Leaf miners will leave an obvious white or cream-coloured trail that follows the path of the larvae.

Solution:

• Simply removing the infested leaves and stepping on them will kill the insects and stop them from spreading to other leaves.

• Only the leaves containing the leaf miner will have an effect on the spreading, but stay vigilant as pests could return and birth more larvae.
• Beneficial insects: Diglyphus Isaea, a parasitic wasp.
• Insecticidal sprays: Spinosad or Neem Oil (Keep off buds)
